General Laborer
Now hiring General Laborers in the Merrill, MI area! Trillium Staffing, a leader in the staffing industry is currently seeking General Laborers in the Merrill, MI area. The General Laborers position associated with the facility sanitation duties. Candidates will work with others to support efficiency in the daily operations of the manufacturing process. Performing a variety of production duties, such as tending machines, handling product, visual sorting or inspection, packing, using overhead cranes/fork trucks, handling large components for shipment, along with heavy rigging or performing other operations that can be learned on-the-job in a short time.
Specific Duties:
- Cleaning walls, floors, equipment or any other areas of the facility
- Restocking cleaning supplies and maintaining janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner
- Disposing of waste, managing coolant supplies and waste system, sanitation of facilities, and equipment maintenance of lighting, and other related areas of the facilities and ground duties and other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Candidates the position will require moving, exertion of moderate to heavy physical effort or frequent standing.
- Candidates will be working 40 hour work week unless overtime is needed to complete tasks (as directed by management). Typical shifts are daytime hours from 6:00am - 4:30pm.
- Candidates will be held accountable for clean and safe working environment.
#303MTG - High School Diploma is required. - Technical training or education is preferred.
- Some background or experience with working in the manufacturing or technical field is required
